9.19.21 목양실에서 (Words From the Pastor)

금주 목양칼럼에 성도님 한분 한분이 주님을 의식하고 동행하면서 사시길 바라는 마음으로 지난주간에 썼던 저의 영성일기를 나누어요.

단지파는 지파별로 땅을 분배할때, 베냐민과 유다지파 옆으로 땅을 분배 받는다. 하지만 블레셋으로 인한 불안함때문에 자기땅이 아닌 이방인처럼 살다가 결국 단지파는 새로운 땅을 찾기 위해 5명을 정탐꾼으로 파송한다. 그리고 정탐후 그들의 인도로 새로운 땅으로 길을 떠난다. 길을떠나다 미가집에서 우상과 미가의 가정 제사장을 빼앗는다. 그리고는 평화로운 사람들이 살던 라이스(단)땅을 빼앗아 정착한다. 그리고 훗날 이 라이스(단)는 이스리엘민족 전체의 우상숭배 중심지가 된다.

하나님이 허락하신 땅을 떠날때 이들은 이 선택이 맞는지 궁금했을 것이다. 그러던중 미가의 집에서 우상과 제사장을 빼앗게 되었을때, 피 한방울 흘리지 않고 신상과 제사장을 갖게 되었을때 하나님이 자기편이고, 자기들에게 이주를 하락했다고 생각했을 것이다. 게다가 라이스를 빼앗고 정착하게 되었을때 이 확신은 더 견고했을 것이다.

나중에 자기들이 빼앗은 라이스(단)가 모든 이스라엘을 우상으로 몰고 갈줄 꿈에도 모르고 기뻐만 했을 것이다.

만약 하나님이 주신 땅에서 힘들어도, 하나님이 주셨으니 기다리고 인내했으면 어땠을까? 그랬다면 단지파도 이스라엘도 운명이 달라졌을 것이다. 삼손같은 사사가 일어났을때 민족적으로 삼손을 지지했다면 역사가 달라졌을텐데....아쉽다.

휴스턴에 올때 하나님은 "에스겔 골짜기의 마른 뼈들에게 하나님의 말씀이 대언될때 군대로 일어나듯 휴스턴순복음교회가 회복되고 부흥할 것" 이라는 약속을 주셨다. 하지만 현실은 쉽지 않았다. 이때 버지니아의 제법 규모있는 교회에서 당시로서는 상상할수 없는 조건을 제시하며 와 달라는 연락이 왔다. 솔직히 짧지만 갈등이 있었다. 그때 약속을 포기하고 현실을 선택했다면 어땠을까? 그때 하나님께서 우리 부부에게 믿음으로 선택하도록 붙잡아 주셨다. 뒤돌아 보면 감사하다.

오늘 한 분과 만났다. 이제까지 자기의 꿈을 위해 달려왔는데 하나님을 알아가면서 하나님께서 자신을 목회자나 선교사로 부르면 어떡하지? 하는 두려움에 한발을 더 못 내딛겠다는 속 마음을 이야기 한다. 그래서 하나님도 아무나 부르지 않는다고 하며, 설령 부른다면 내 마음에 소원으로 가득 채운후 부르니 좋으신 하나님을 신뢰하자며 격려했다. 그냥 교회에 나오는듯 했는데 이런 마음이 있었다니....하나님이 하시는 일이 놀랍다.

그러면서 솔직히 나에게 이런 마음, 갈등은 없는가? 라고 생각해 본다.

나는 교회, 선교같이 사역적인 것에는 어느 정도 결단하는듯 하지만 아이러니하게 일상적이고 작은것에는 너무나 쉽게 감정대로, 습관대로 살아가는 모습을 본다. 그냥 산다. 솔직히 하나님을 신뢰 못하고 있다.

그러기에 세월이 지난후 뒤돌아 보며 "아쉽다"는 표현이 없도록, 아니 최소한의 후회만 있도록 끊임없이 주님을 바라 보아야 겠다고 이 저녁에 결심해 본다. In this week's shepherding column, I will share my spiritual diary I wrote last week with the hope that each member of the church will live while being conscious of the Lord and walking with Him.

When the Danites divide the land by tribe, they receive the land next to the tribes of Benjamin and Judah. However, because of the insecurity caused by the Philistines, they live like strangers rather than their own, and eventually send 5 people as spies to find a new land. And after spying, they set out on their way to a new land. On his way, he takes the idols and priests of Micah's house from Micah's house. Then, they take the land of rice (dan) where peaceful people lived and settle. And later, this rice (Dan) becomes the center of idol worship of the entire Israelite nation.

When they left the land that God had given them, they would have wondered if this choice was right for them. In the meantime, when the idols and priests were taken from Micah's house, when they had the image and priests without shedding a drop of blood, they would have thought that God was on their side and that they had given them immigration. In addition, this conviction would have been stronger when rice was taken and settled.

Later, they must have rejoiced, not knowing that Rice (Dan), who they had stolen, would drive all Israel into idols.

Even if it was difficult in the land God gave, what would it be like to wait and persevere because God gave it to us. Had it been, the fate of the Danites and Israel would have been different. If Samson had supported Samson nationally when a judge like Samson arose, history would have been different....

When I came to Houston, God gave me a promise that "When the word of God is prophesied to the dry bones of the Valley of Ezekiel, the Houston Full Gospel Church will be restored and revived like an army." But the reality was not easy. At this time, a fairly large church in Virginia offered a condition that was unimaginable at the time and asked to come. To be honest, it was brief, but there was a conflict. What if you had given up on your promise and chose reality? At that time, God held me and my wife to choose by faith. Looking back, I thank the Lord.

I met someone today. You've been running for your dreams, but what if God calls you a pastor or missionary while getting to know God? He talks about his inner heart that he can't take one more step because of his fear. So they said that God doesn't call anyone, and if he does, he encouraged me to trust in God, who is good when he calls after filling my heart with wishes. It seemed like I was just going to church, but to have this kind of heart... It's amazing what God is doing.

And honestly, don't I have this kind of heart and conflict? I think.

I seem to be determined to some extent when it comes to ministry such as church and missions, but ironically, I see how I live according to my emotions and habits so easily when it comes to everyday and small things. just live To be honest, I don't trust God.

That is why, after years have passed, I look back and make a decision this evening that I must constantly look to the Lord so that there is no expression of “I am sorry”, or even the least regret.

I will only hold on to the Lord
