The Well is the English Ministry of Full Gospel Korean Church of Houston and it is comprised of college students and young adults. Here at The Well we long to raise up faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and see young people rise up with faith and leadership over the church. We long to be a place where young people can come as they are to meet with Jesus, and receive the true living water that lasts for eternity. (John 4:14) We firmly believe in the Great Commission and long to raise up young missionaries that will serve the unreached people groups. We believe all our welcome and hope to be a place where each person can grow in Christ.
About the Pastor
Pastor Paul was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He studied at New York University and majored in Biology. In 2012, he served as a student missionary in Turkey for one year and afterwards served the Full Gospel Church's Youth Ministry for 3 years. Afterwards he and his family moved to Korea for missionary training to become long term missionaries for the Syrian refugees. But after his training, God gave Pastor Paul and his family a heart to serve The Well to raise up young people as disciples of Jesus Christ and to see The Well grow in leadership and ownership over the church.
Pastor Paul has a lovely wife named Haein, and has two daughters Joy (4) and Soyul (5 months). He loves good food and enjoys basketball. Pastor Paul's favorite verse is John 15:13 "Greater love has none than this, that someone lay down their life for their friends".
Our desire is to be an all nation, all generation, all language church that will raise up faithful disciples of Jesus Christ who will walk with him daily being equipped with the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:10-20) to preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20), and who will not conform themselves to this world (Romans 12:2) but will thirst only for the true living water that comes for Jesus Christ (John 4:13-14).
13 Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
